A school is not just about bricks, machine and concrete but about building character enriching minds that lasts a life time. It is indeed a tedious task in bringing about a drastic change in the attitudes and values in the present generation. Yet with the dedication and commitment of both my academic staff and parents we are striving hard to mold the personality of the students inculcating good qualities and abilities.

My dear daughters and sons, let us head on our way the success and have a smooth journey in facing the challenges of future.

I expect and hope the fame of the mahanama M.V spread in every sphere and wish peace prosperity be downed upon this sacred land of ours – Sri Lanka

මහානාම විද්‍යාලයේ වෙබ් පිටුවට වචන කිහිපයක් ලිවීමට ලැබීම මට මහත් සතුටක්.මෙම කීර්තිමත් පාසලේ ප්‍රධානියා ලෙස කටයුතු කිරීමට ලැබීම ගැන මට මහත් ගෞරවයක් දැනෙන අතර තොරතුරු හා සන්නිවේදන තාක්ෂණ අංශයට සහ මෙය දියත් කිරීමට සහය වූ සැමට මාගේ උණුසුම් සුබ පැතුම් ප්‍රකාශ කිරීමට මෙය අවස්ථාවක් කර ගනිමි. වෙබ් අඩවිය.
මගේ අදහසට අනුව, අපගේ දැක්මට අනුව "විශ්ව ගම්මානයේ උපත ලබා දීමට
ශ්‍රී ලාංකීය අනන්‍යතාවය සම්පූර්ණ පුද්ගලයෙකි.

පාසලක් යනු ගඩොල්, යන්ත්‍ර සහ කොන්ක්‍රීට් පමණක් නොව ජීවිත කාලය පුරාවටම පවතින චරිත පොහොසත් කරන සිත් ගොඩනැගීමයි. වත්මන් පරපුරේ ආකල්ප හා සාරධර්මවල දැඩි වෙනසක් ඇති කිරීම ඇත්තෙන්ම වෙහෙසකර කාර්යයකි. එහෙත් මගේ අධ්‍යයන කාර්ය මණ්ඩලයේ සහ දෙමාපියන්ගේ කැපවීම සහ කැපවීම මත අපි සිසුන්ගේ යහපත් ගුණාංග සහ හැකියාවන් ඇති කරමින් ඔවුන්ගේ පෞරුෂය හැඩගස්වා ගැනීමට දැඩි උත්සාහයක් දරති.
මගේ දයාබර දූ පුතුනි, අනාගතයේ අභියෝගවලට මුහුණ දෙමින් අපි අපගේ සාර්ථකත්වය කරා ගමන් කර සුමට ගමනක් යමු.
මහානාම M.V ගේ කීර්තිය සෑම ක්ෂේත්‍රයකම පැතිරී යනු ඇතැයි මම බලාපොරොත්තු වෙමි
