The twentieth of february witnessed

a geat show down of sportsmanship and talaenttake place at the Mahanama Collage main ground.the annual inter house athletic meet has been held annualy 2020.

However,what makes the 2020 edition special was the stiff competition the houses faced and the intensely close compition that made the event a great specta to behold.this was very apparent in the manner in wich all the major awards were shared among the three houses.lead by Ashan Chanuka the champions ''Aruna'' house took home the awards for the highest points in the junior and senior categories with totals of 980 and 898 points respectively.One of the highlits of the  arhletics meet is the march past for wich much preparation is done by the grade 10 students.with a large share of avible points as stake-the march past was best excuted by the runner-up gamunu house. a testament to the efforts ofmany stake holders at M.M.V the iconic road race was win by the 2nd runners-up udaya house

පෙබරවාරි විසිවැනිදා මහානාම විද්‍යාලීය ප්‍රධාන ක්‍රීඩාංගණයේදී ක්‍රීඩාශීලිත්වයේ සහ දස්කම් දැක්වීමේ විශිෂ්ට සංදර්ශනයක් පැවැත්විණි. වාර්ෂික අන්තර් නිවාස මලල ක්‍රීඩා උළෙල 2020 වාර්ෂිකව පවත්වා ඇත.

කෙසේ වෙතත්, 2020 සංස්කරණයේ විශේෂත්වය වන්නේ නිවාස මුහුණ දුන් දැඩි තරඟය සහ උත්සවය නැරඹීමට විශිෂ්ට දර්ශනයක් බවට පත් කළ දැඩි සමීප තරඟයයි. මෙය ප්‍රධාන සම්මාන සියල්ලම නිවාස තුන අතර බෙදී ගිය ආකාරයෙන් ඉතා පැහැදිලි විය. අශාන් චානුකගේ නායකත්වයෙන් යුත් ‘අරුණ’ නිවාසය කනිෂ්ඨ සහ ජ්‍යෙෂ්ඨ කාණ්ඩවල ඉහළම ලකුණු සඳහා වූ සම්මාන පිළිවෙලින් ලකුණු 980ක් සහ 898ක් ලබා ගනිමින් සම්මානයට පාත්‍ර විය.
10 වැනි ශ්‍රේණියේ සිසුන් විසින් බොහෝ සූදානම් කිරීම් සිදු කරනු ලබන අතර ඒ සඳහා වූ පාගමන පාස්‌ට්‌ තරගයේ එක්‌ විශේෂත්වයක්‌ වේ. ඒ සඳහා අවශ්‍ය ලකුණු විශාල ප්‍රමාණයක්‌ ස්‌කේක්‌ ලෙස තබා ඇත. අනුශූරතාව ගැමුණු නිවස විසින් මාර්ච් පාස්ට් වඩාත් හොඳින් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරන ලදී. M.M.V හි බොහෝ පාර්ශ්වකරුවන්ගේ උත්සාහය පිළිබඳ සාක්ෂියක් වන අයිකොනික් මාර්ග ධාවන තරඟය 2 වන අනුශූරයන් වූ උදය නිවස විසින් ජයග්‍රහණය කරන ලදී
